Iran state media Fars (which is close to the Revolutionary Guard) says Trump's claim on Truth Social about returning the Strait of Hormuz to its previous state is untrue. "According to the latest text exchanged, in the event of a possible agreement, the Strait of Hormuz will continue to be under Iranian management."

@ItsTheEnforcer It makes me sad. I never wanted a war but I also never wanted to see the USA be defeated and embarrassed like this in my lifetime. They came out stronger and with more than they started with at the cost of billions of US tax dollars.

Do we believe Iran has agreed to give up nukes and reopen the strait of Hormuz? Absolutely not. So whatever the president is signing is probably a bullshit agreement 🤷‍♂️

The New Iran's Persian Gulf Strait Authority (PGSA): The Islamic Republic of Iran has defined the regulatory jurisdiction for the management of the Hormuz_Strait as follows: “The line connecting Kuh-e Mubarak in Iran to the south of Fujairah in the UAE at the eastern entrance of the Strait, to the line connecting the tip of Qeshm Island in Iran to Umm Al-Quwain in the UAE at the western entrance.” Transit through this area for the purpose of passing through the Hormuz strait requires coordination with, and authorization from, the Persian Gulf Strait Authority (PGSA).
