@ptrpavlik @URLSession @krzyzanowskim Curious what work that is because our team has a similar sentiment about being tough for “simple things” when compared to GCD.
English

@URLSession @krzyzanowskim It's a must have for massively parallel software (backends, databases, build systems) to compete with Rust, Go and others in this apace, but when you're just building a pretty json printer iOS app 😅🤡. There's some work being done to make this simpler.

@lucabernardi @published @Luca_bernardi is this something that 3rd party developers can implement outside of SwiftUI? I have some protocols that define things I want to observe outside of SwiftUI and the only way I can currently do this is with a separate publisher gist.github.com/eito/092d44169…
English

@ericito @published It’s expected and correct behavior. What matter is what’s defined on the concrete type that you are using.
English

Can @lucabernardi or other #swiftui folks tell me if it’s a bug that SwiftUI will rebuild `ContentView.body` when `items` is changed even though the protocol doesn’t/can’t specify items is @Published. Reluctant to use this until I know it’s supposed to be that way.
