@DevinWxChase All these people in their feelings about the caption but nobody died in these storms in Iowa. The death toll on the whole outbreak is shockingly low given what all happened. Only 6 people died in the whole thing. Our spotters and Weather people did an amazing job yesterday.

@KharaJabola We all watched and heard the trial and evidence/testimonies live. We didn’t need to follow fake social media accounts to form an opinion. We have brains and common sense.

As organizers, we also need to identify when celebrity gossip crosses into a cultural moment. J Depp paid for over 300 fake accounts to disseminate disinformation on the dynamics of DV, which generated a public frenzy against 50 years of feminism. We must intensify our propaganda

The verdict doesn’t matter because this was a campaign, not a trial. No woman is the perfect victim & J Depp weaponized everyone’s internalized sexism. The lesson is that DV orgs aren’t geared to mobilize the public & we need a new playbook against DV rooted in mass organizing.

So Amber Heard still playing victim like a classic narcissist even after verdict. May #DeppVsHeard be a lesson for those that pursue relationships based on looks, superficiality & bs. Take your time & never ignore red flags. Your gut will never fail you. #victoryforjohnnydepp
