@shifkey For some reason DH15 and the bigger noctua's are incompatible with threadriper (pro), this is the threadripper cooler they make. I bought the CPU, cooler, board and ram (pre AI boom) used from an oil exploration firm.

@EricParker Why that cooler instead of DH15? is it a little shorter?

You may not like it but this is what peak performance looks like.

no one for linux host one for windows vms. my usual primary gpu has a waterblock and I don't currently have a case / WC so this was the temporary setup, I also wanted to try if an AMD GPU was actually better on Linux (spoiler: yes, it is). Also lucky me because on Davinci Resolve 21 you can now export h265 directly on linux without nvidia.

@FungusJump26823 They’re both pretty small gpus. Mainly for power / width concerns in a multi setup. It’s a sapphire 9060 xt 2 fan that I bought from

@t8z5h3 the amd card is the primary (runs the linux desktop), bottom is for passthrough. I am using a 128 lane platform so bandwidth isn't an issue.

@EricParker I would have put the GeForce card on top, being on the bottom it's losing a performance depending on how the pci-e lanes are wired.

@uttertard web.archive.org/web/2026051506… malware (note size matches what I posted on malwarebazaar), the one on there today is the correct one. I also have a video coming (currently in sponsor review) which will show some of the process and the download page in a few days.

@EricParker Any chances of pulling it from Wayback Machine? Do you have the old url in your browser history? I just want to check it independently if that's not a problem to you, thanks.

I don't know exactly when, but some time between that post and my analysis and now the malware was pulled from apkpure and replaced with the correct download. You can easily tell the difference from the fact the download size is now the expected 74 mb. here is an archive capture of the malicious one which matches what I uploaded on malwarebazaar and is not from telegram. web.archive.org/web/2026051506…

@ArtemR @EricParker Are we talking about the apk certificate signature or not? Whether it's malware of whatever, are we talking about the apk? If so, send me the its original Apkpure link because it's all that matters from OP's claim about "Apkpure distributing malicious Telegram". Let me check it.

PSA: APKPure is distributing a malicious copy of Telegram.

@requiescus @AaronBergman18 These are useless, The hot air is blown out the window resulting in room being at a negative pressure and hot air rushes back in, you can't block air inflow to the room as then it wont "work"

Wtf I don’t wanna be too flippant because I know it’s a substantial or even prohibitive cost for some people but you can just do things (buy and install a <$200 window AC unit)

Economists estimate that if Europeans used AC as much as Americans do, it would save up to 100,000 European lives EVERY YEAR. But I guess saving face on Elon Musk's social media app is more important than 100,000 lives.

@Yakov5776 @Worst_SU @ArtemR @virustotal AVs are generally quite disappointing, but it is worth noting here the results if you had the AV installed might be different than virustotals static scan. A running AV can do a bunch of dynamic / behavior monitoring a one shot scan of a file can't.

@NearestCommit I think there would have been a strong case for it if when the map came out or at least when unofficial versions started coming out they had registered and enforced it. Doing it later and only after heavy commercialization is not a winning strategy.
