I've been there. The IT guy was actually trying to keep things light. I cant tell you how many times I've gone to someone's desk, who swears on every person they love that there is a massive problem and there isnt. I think it's usually because people are rushing and overlook a step or type stuff incorrectly. But when I show up, they calmly do it to prove it's not working, not realizing it was a user issue the entire time. The tech was trying to minimize the issue so the job doesnt think there is this massive technological issue. So essentially, F this judge.

@wmorrill3 💯 Completely agree. I really enjoyed the movie, but I wish the detailed the science a bit more in it.

Project Hail Mary was entertaining, but in the same way I think the Martian was dulled from the book, so too was PHM. Andy Weir does a great job in the details of his books to make science fiction seem plausible and grounded in real science to an extent, but many of those details were glossed over in the movie. On top of that Grace in the book was smart and witty, Grace from the movie was portrayed more as a bumbling sometimes-lucky scientist, just a small change but was one that made the character more comedy and less nerdy. Don't get me wrong, the core story was there, visuals were fantastic and they kept true to the ending. So overall worth a watch, but just go into it knowing that the magic of Andy Weir's science based fiction has been stripped out. If you want more of that and haven't read the book, definitely check it out.

I just signed the papers on a Tesla and am waiting for it to arrive. The biggest appeal was the self-driving feature. Second was never having to go to the gas station again (convenience more than cost.) I decided to do a 3 year lease instead of buy as I suspect the car will be outdated soon given the speed with which the technology is advancing.
