my mom once told me "accountability will always feel like an attack when you are not ready to acknowledge how your behavior harms others" and that shit is real.

I drive Uber on the night shift. At 2 AM, I picked up a guy from a hospital. He got in the back, looking shell-shocked. Didn't say a word. We drove in silence for ten minutes. Then I heard a sniffle. I glanced in the rearview. He was staring out the window, tears streaming down his face. "Rough night?" I asked quietly. "My wife," he choked out. "She just... the cancer. She's gone." My heart stopped. I turned off the meter. "I'm not taking you home yet," I said. He looked up, confused. "What?" "You can't go to an empty house right now. Not yet." I pulled into an all-night diner. "Come on. Coffee and pie. On me." He hesitated, then nodded. We sat in that booth for three hours. He told me about her laugh. How they met. How she hated peas. I just listened. When I finally dropped him off at 6 AM, the sun was coming up. He shook my hand. "Thank you," he said. "For not making me be alone in the dark." I didn't make a dime that night. But it was the most important drive of my life. Anonymous

Introverts shut down when they’re going through a lot. They want no sympathy, no advice, no fixing. All they want is silence and solitude. They know how to pull themselves out. Just leave them alone for a while.

In Edina,Minnesota protesters lined up to buy salt and then return it over and over again and there were 70 to 110 in line doing it to make a statement to Target to stop allowing ICE on their property to detain their employees and customers! “Buy salt melt the ICE”!

This mom was worried that her son would get bullied on the school bus. Then their Hispanic neighbors came and promised to protect him. They then said to each other in Spanish, “If anybody touches him, I’ll grab them.” 🥹

I just spoke with the White House after another horrific shooting by federal agents this morning. Minnesota has had it. This is sickening. The President must end this operation. Pull the thousands of violent, untrained officers out of Minnesota. Now.

At 9:05 AM CT, as DHS law enforcement officers were conducting a targeted operation in Minneapolis against an illegal alien wanted for violent assault, an individual approached US Border Patrol officers with a 9 mm semi-automatic handgun, seen here.  The officers attempted to disarm the suspect but the armed suspect violently resisted. More details on the armed struggle are forthcoming. Fearing for his life and the lives and safety of fellow officers, an agent fired defensive shots. Medics on scene immediately delivered medical aid to the subject but was pronounced dead at the scene.  The suspect also had 2 magazines and no ID—this looks like a situation where an individual wanted to do maximum damage and massacre law enforcement.    About 200 rioters arrived at the scene and began to obstruct and assault law enforcement on the scene, crowd control measures were deployed for the safety of the public and law enforcement.  This situation is evolving, and more information is forthcoming.

The most recent European model run on #Melissa has it becoming a CATEGORY 5 and slamming into #Jamaica and #Cuba at that intensity. Again, this has the possibility to be WORSE than Gilbert! Those in Jamaica need to begin their preparations today! #wx #hurricane
