@UnionAndBlue I felt like both goals against were a little unlucky. 1st one hits the pipe, then the jersey, bounces down at his feet with an open cage. The 2nd one, the pass wasn’t intended to go all the way across (at least in my view). Another mostly open cage. Bob was exceptional tonight.

@Buccigross Maybe Trotz can just leave Stamkos in Columbus after the game tonight.

Columbus could certainly use a Winger. They need another threat. But they can't sacrifice defense. And Monahan needs a good finish. Columbus has been a mid offensive team and a slightly more mid defensive team. Just be a little better at both and they can go 15-7 and make the playoffs. 14-8 might also do it.

Oilers rank near the bottom of the league in quality shots, expected goals and goals against at 5v5. Last in rush chances against. If Murphy can help clean some of that up, will be significant for Oilers.
