@GreenSquareAC I always find it interesting that Wageningen University has a radioactive Cesium reactor to force mutation in vegetables for selection of new crops :P

Doing some research on biotech, I started to wonder if those that baulk at manufactured or fermented foods in favour of natural veg are aware of how far-removed vegetables are from their origins or what we have done to force mutations we could then isolate and exploit?

@michiel_ontwerp Consumers can offset flights etc. But I don't think you get any guarantee for the duration of the offset like this one. @KLM, care to chip in? Do you give any guarantees for the absorption lifespan of 545kg of emissions for 8.99?

Has anyone ever tried / looked into putting high res cameras on commercial airplanes? Hear me out: - Flights already happen, quite frequently, over urban areas - Flights are at ~10km altitude, much lower that LEO satellites That’s a lot of frequent, very high res imagery

@arjenvrielink @Sustainable2050 All in all I spend over $2k in setup costs, for a complex setup with high monthly costs that does not compare to anything you would get in Europe. It's a nuisance to me, but a serious impediment to the African economy

@arjenvrielink @Sustainable2050 It is an improvement to the 4G connection I had before, but high latency and intermittent connection made me add a balancing router with two 4G links to make it workable. 4G is all prepaid here, so a couple times a month my connection deteriorates, prompting me to top up
