100 % guarantee Trump will spout that the US “pays for Europe’s defence.” The numbers don’t back it. Of $968bn US spend on military, only $33bn is spent in Europe, mostly on US bases which are not NATO bases. The actual US funding of NATO is approx $600m a year, about the same as Germany. Like 90% of what he babbles, it’s a lie.
