casual commander's complete aversion to mass land denial strategies and other forms of stax is so fucking lame, its like ppl forget we're playing a game and take it personally when anything tries to stop them from "doing their thing"

first time i played magic i got all my lands strip mined 1 by 1 and instead of getting mad ab it i thought "woah u can do that? thats crazy this game is sick" n i wish more ppl had that experience instead of being conditioned to think that land denial is just for sweaty tryhards!

@isohelsgarden tbh i think its bc melee is such a complex and mechanically deep game that top players genuinely disagree on how fox *should* be played. like sure what cody does seems to work the best rn, but whos to say aklo or mokys styles wont prove to be optimal with some future innovations

can some1 explain to me why this is the case?
why doesn't every fox ever try to just play like Cody? id say a lot of good ult reps of their character likely play a LOT like their best rep/at least try to. theres a p clear answer in most cases as to what = optimal so just do that

@ssbmsnap yeah i was kind of wondering if there was a way to reframe the terms like how ari did such that one could apply demorgans law to the definition of the titles and get a definitive title rather than leaving an "or" statement as the answer but alas i could not see one

ethical non-monogamy is “A and not-B”
and logic would indicate that the negation would be “B or not-A”
which here means “monogamy *or* anything that’s unethical”
