A few months ago, we had hats made for our team. People would always see them and ask how they could get their hands on one. We made more, and started giving them out to clients and partners who would come by the office or meet the team in person. Creators started wearing them in their content without us even asking. We started seeing our hats pop up in YouTube videos, podcast episodes, Instagram Reels, and more all the time. Now, every event I go to I make sure to bring a massive box of them and hand them out. There’s nothing cooler than walking around Brickell and seeing people I don’t even know repping our company Super simple, yet massively effective brand awareness play.

@_TJRTrades i think this type of story is even more inspiring sometimes, when you had everything but still desired more out of life and set out built something yourself.

People are so obsessed with the rags to riches story nowadays. If you were from Africa starving with no water for days straight and become successful that’s the only way you will get respect. The first podcast I ever got on I talked about how my great grandparents started a private school in Silicon Valley that my parents now run. I actually mention it on every podcast I ever go on. What never gets mentioned is how I left the church that every single one of my family members is apart of after leaving high school at 18 and was then cut off having to pay for everything myself. Paid for the 2 years of college I went to, paid for everything, all while not talking to my parents for a solid year and a half because of our disagreements. I grew up in a big house in one of the nicest areas of California but was never given anything to help start my career. I got great education as a teenager but once I turned 18 and made the decision I didn’t want to live the life my parents wanted me to live I was on my own. Is it the best fairytale story of success ever… no but I made the life I am living now by myself. Think about a very religious family who runs a school, do you really think they would give money to their son who is drinking and smoking daily (against the church rules) and dropped out. Definitely not lol. Idk what you guys define “broke” as but I was broke in my eyes. I had -2,000 in my bank account and I even ran to my rich parents and asked them to help me. They said no, what are you going to do about it. I proceeded to DoorDash for 3 days straight deadass going up to people’s doors asking for cash so I could fill my car up with more gas to keep door dashing because I had $0 in my bank. Now I’m on great terms with my parents, buy my mom jewelry and purses that yes my family can’t afford to buy, take our entire family on trips that only I can afford to take all of us on, but to the internet mind it doesn’t matter because I grew up in a comfortable situation as a child 🤣. Oh and I’m still waiting for my trust fund, the internet says I have one but for whatever reason I haven’t received a dollar yet. Moral of the story people will try and discredit everything you do when you are better than them and living a life that they can’t even comprehend and will make up any reason for why you are in the position you are in besides the fact that you actually worked to get there. We are all dealt a hand of cards when we are born I just happened to be born into a family that is financially stable and the internet thinks that is a sin. All of you guys can make it no matter the conditions I’m sure this post will get hate but it had to be said. Too many people on the internet kill the dreams of younger people that want to be successful by saying it’s not possible. It is possible for every one of you. love you guys even my haters you all can do whatever you want with your life ❤️

More fuel to the fire: another one of Subi’s mentees reached out after seeing my expose... and guess what? Turns out Subi (Subinay Ganapathi) wasn’t just ripping my store… he was ripping his too. This mentee got hit with a DMCA a while back, and when he went to file a counter-DMCA, the “rights holder” email it pointed to was: contact@trykuyami.com …which happens to be one of Subi’s main stores. So he’s not only stealing from his own students... he’s hitting them with fake DMCAs to wipe them out as competition. Disgusting.

GURU EXPOSED… SUBI (SUBINAY GANAPATHI) Right so… me + a couple others just uncovered a crazy scheme this “guru” has been running behind everyone’s back. Most people know him as the “paid ads demon.” Reality? He milks students + spam-sells “1-1 mentorship” where he barely replies. I was one of his students. Didn’t get much value from the course anyway… But then Friday night I found out this dude ripped my product (and multiple other students’ products) and started scaling against us. I’ve been in the trenches since February with no winner. Finally cracked something last month — started scaling to $15–20k/day within a week. And no, this isn’t kalo-rip nonsense — I’ve been learning real ad creative, ad copy, editing… putting in REAL work. Then I wake up one morning and see a new competitor scaling aggressively with 200+ active ads… Using my B-roll… And the store address? Directly linked to Subi. (Also got hit with a DMCA… can’t confirm it’s him but you can put two and two together.) Ecom is ruthless, I get it. But after paying $5,000 for mentorship, the LAST thing you expect is the mentor stealing your winner. Why would you PAY someone to ROB you?😭 I dug deeper with a few other students who were also suspicious — and we uncovered a mountain of evidence. Nobody in their right mind should buy this guy’s course after seeing it. Because YOU are the method. He’s not teaching — he’s extracting. I genuinely want to see this guy gone from the ecom space. He’s been polluting it for way too long without anyone noticing. And by the way i'm not the only person who has experienced this scum behaviour from him. I know 4-5 students already that also have had the same thing happen to them, i'm just the only one angry enough to go public with this.
