I don't understand why squash merging is not the default on GitHub. The other options make no sense, and just slow things down. Similarly, it's confusing that people *still* use `git merge`. It makes everything so complicated. Always rebase, never merge.

I thought "vibe coding" was silly... until I watched my design counterpart — who has never written a line of code in his life — create a real outcome. Watching him succeed with these tools was the breakthrough for me to become a believer.

@ethomson While kneeling down to stroke a cat (!) I asked lovable to create an app for Bluetooth enabled rowing machines to track stats. It's immediately made something that looked the part, but it took a couple of prompts to get it to actually work, so about 3 prompts in total.
