Agent Payments Protocol (APP), which is analogy to open standards to build the Internet, emphasizes that the APP provides a borderless, arbitrary chain, always online payment protocol for the AI agent economy, and supports developers to integrate through Onchain OS documents. • As an open industry standard protocol, APP realizes AI agent's independent negotiation, payment and settlement. As the basic layer of APP (Agent Payments Protocol), ETHY mainly plays the role of "practical fuel + autonomous execution layer" and is the key implementation carrier of Ethy AI in the early ecology of OKX APP. Ethy AI (an AI agent project corresponding to $ETHY, running on the Base chain, through the Virtuals Protocol) announced that it would integrate the protocol as an early ecological supporter immediately after OKX launched the APP. They clearly stated that: "We're integrating APP to power trading workflows driven by real agent-to-agent interactions — enabling fully autonomous execution and onchain settlement. A foundational layer for the next phase of the agent economy.” Specific roles and mechanisms of ETHY • Utility & Gas-like Token: Users need to use $ETHY to recharge the smart wallet of Ethy's agent. Each automated task (automation, such as trading, pledge, DCA, transfer, income cultivation, etc.) will consume 100 $ETHY and burn permanently. New users have 1000 free credit, and then they must recharge $ETHY to continue running. This forms a deflationary flywheel: the more it is used → the more it burns → the supply decreases → it is directly linked to the activity of the proxy economy. • Inter-agent payment and on-chain settlement layer: By integrating OKX's APP protocol, $ETHY supports real agent-to-agent transaction workflow to achieve fully autonomous negotiation, payment, execution and on-chain settlement. Ethy AI itself is an intelligent transaction execution agent. If users give instructions in natural language (such as "buy wstETH of 100 USDC when ETH falls below $2,800"), Ethy will run automatically 24/7 and realize cross-agent collaboration and reliable settlement with the help of APP. • ACP (Agentic Commerce Protocol)-driven basic business layer: The bottom layer of Ethy is driven by Agentic Commerce Protocol (ACP). After combining with APP, it can capture market narratives in real time, optimize decision-making, and support community intelligent funds, document transactions and other scenarios. $ETHY has become the payment and incentive basis for these agent business scenarios, so that AI agents can truly realize "making money and spending money independently". Brief summary • APP itself is an open standard protocol (similar to HTTP on the Internet), which is responsible for negotiation, payment, custody, disputes and other rules between agents. • $ETHY + Ethy AI is the actual landing layer, providing an immediate proxy execution environment, paying fuel and deflationary economy models, and becoming the "basim of the next stage of agent economy" in the APP ecology.
