200mg Ginkgo Biloba (standardized extract) elevates Dopaminergic transmission in the PFC → longer attention span → filter out distractions better → calculated decisions > impulsive decisions → improved performance under stress → focus on things which actually matter Ginkgo seperates itself from most other Dopaminergic herbs/compounds/supplements because it doesn't just only raise Dopamine in the mesolimbic regions such as the NAc. Dopamine in the mesolimbic region is what actually gives you drive, motivation, energy etc. but Dopamine in the prefrontal cortex (PFC) actually makes you more competent and controlled.

Are you B6 maxxing? B6 is one of those vitamins that could be a "quick fix" if you're just feeling off. Maybe you're experiencing a lot of brain fog. You're moody all the time. Skin cracks more often. You might just need to do a reset and indulge in REAL food that nourishes you deeply. These are some of the richest sources of B6 in the world. When we think of vitamins, we should always think of food first. We are so blessed to live in a world full of nourishment 🤍

Lactoferrin is a powerful anti-Candida agent. Recent review - lactoferrin forms: ◈ Consistently reduce planktonic Candida growth ◈ Has anti-hyphal / antibiofilm properties ◈ Reduces colonization in animal models ◈ Reduces fungal infection in infants 100-200 mg is the starting point - lactoferrin does it all.

Lactoferrin is an antifungal against Candida. Lactoferrin is a protein found in milk (especially raw milk and colostrum) with various protective benefits for the gut. It helps chelate IRON which is important for all pathogens to grow, including fungi like Candida. x.com/Outdoctrinatio…

Master Metabolism

SIBO is one of the overlooked symptoms of untreated low thyroid. When the active thyroid hormone is inadequate, soft tissues swell, causing constipation and stomach acid drops; bacterial overgrowth results. The problem isn’t always caught by labs, and sometimes, both antibiotics and the correction of thyroid hormone levels are required to prevent recurrence.
Master Metabolism@lowmegatron

Insane but not uncommon. This lady spent years, and who knows how much, trying to solve her SIBO. She was told she didn’t have any thyoid issues and kept on the pharma/alt health merrygoround. This included: nutritionists acupuncturists 15+ naturopaths "gut health coaches" multiple gastroenterologists various functional medicine doctors Elemental diet (done it twice) $800 on SIBO breath tests alone Low FODMAP became my personality “The most frustrating part was for years, my thyroid labs were "normal." TSH bounced between 2.0-2.5, free T4 right in the middle of the range. Every doctor looked at those numbers and moved on to prescribe another round of gut-focused treatment. Meanwhile, I had Hashimoto's antibodies through the roof, but they kept saying my thyroid function was "fine." Eventually, someone tested her thyroid hormone levels (T3).It was in the gutter. She started T3. “Within 3 weeks, my morning "hangover" feeling was gone. I was actually having bowel movements without coffee. Bloating reduced by maybe 50%. Brain fog starting to lift. I had energy to actually do things with my partner again. The bloating took longer, probably 6-8 weeks to really improve. Still have bad days, especially around my cycle. At week 8, I retested for SIBO. Hydrogen was 12 ppm. First negative result since my thirties. Had to retest it because I didn't believe it. The restrictive diets I'd been following were actually making my thyroid worse. Carbohydrates are essential for T4 to T3 conversion. Every time I went low-carb or did another elimination diet, I was sabotaging my thyroid function and perpetuating the cycle.” She had a genetic thyroid hormone conversion issue, among other things, but there are many other thyroid hormone (not thyroid gland) issues that are missed by standard testing. SIBO is a well known symptom of hypothyroidism. "A very hypothyroid person sometimes has bacteria and yeast living in the stomach." — Ray Peat Hypothyroid people are 11x more likely to have SIBO. “The history of overt hypothyroidism is associated with bacterial overgrowth development.” Hypothyroidism: ➥ Slows gut transit time ➥ Swells the gut lining ➥ Reduces stomach acid PMID: 17698907

🧠 The Secret Superpower Hiding in Your Pen… What if I told you that a simple notebook could quiet your brain’s fear center? Scientists have discovered that writing about your emotions doesn’t just help you vent—it actually reduces activity in your amygdala, the part of the brain that triggers stress and anxiety. Every word you write helps your brain process feelings, calm your mind, and even heal itself in ways therapy alone can’t always achieve. Some call it the brain’s hidden reset button… and it’s right in your hands. Could this be the easiest mental health tool we’ve been overlooking? Source: Pennebaker, J. W.
