Using LLMs in the cloud is definitely faster for 99% of people who are going to run this locally

do you open the sora app daily & go through the feed? i’m mostly curious about the retention curve because damn it’s insanely hard to spin up a new network… especially one without a crisp reason for a new social graph to exist. sora always felt a bit incoherent to me because on one hand it was tiktok style one to many broadcast, and on the other it had cameo with friends intimacy. when your graph logic is ambiguous, the whole experience turns a bit mushy. getting the social context right is everything. if you get it wrong users just feel confused about what the network is for. also i think in the end maybe doing the whole celeb cameo thing (esp leveraging sama) might’ve led people to believe it’s way broadcasty & way less intimate than otherwise.

I think it's too much for my brain but I'm addicted to running five different Claude Code instances to ship five different features at once
