we planned to launch our open-weight model next week. we are delaying it; we need time to run additional safety tests and review high-risk areas. we are not yet sure how long it will take us. while we trust the community will build great things with this model, once weights are out, they can’t be pulled back. this is new for us and we want to get it right. sorry to be the bearer of bad news; we are working super hard!

I always took the lower pay higher equity offer and my equity wouldn’t vest because I was not in America “ > says he worked at Antimetal and Sync labs full time but doesn’t list it in his resume > claims to work 140hr weeks and not sleep to work 3 jobs “I’m a serial non sleeper” > employers claim he used the India Pakistan conflict to say they shot a drone outside his house in Mumbai to get out of work. And called in sick multiple times before starting All this while saying he didn’t want to “center a div for 6hrs” in BigTech. I don’t buy it. Seems like deliberate misleading and fraud.

@cpuguy83 Totally agree, NixOS flips the traditional workflow, and once it clicks, it’s hard to go back. That declarative config feels like superpowers. Still waiting for the day when everything can be truly reproducible, but it’s getting closer.

Overall, I really like nixos. There is definitely a learning curve, but that same is true for all the other distros... I've just been using those distros for decades. I really like managing my system this way. I wish it could be truly all-encompassing.
