I’ve been watching Foundation, and while I generally enjoy it, I can’t help but notice how the directorial is just bad at certain points.
There are critical, emotionally revelatory scenes where the camera just cuts away before we visually realize what’s happening.

WP always lists misleading and inaccurate headlines when they post articles here.
Like, “unexpectedly competitive” is not in the headline of the actual article nor does it discuss polling at all.
In reality, 538 has Alsobrooks up 10 and that’s low vs other recent polls.

What’s not open to interpretation is if the Senate had convicted and disqualified him from holding office per Article 1 Sec. 3.

@contranymic1 @BrentYax @rickhasen lol. That article says that it’s purely accidental and unintentional if any non-citizens get voting docs. The govs are trying to correct the problem and the issue isn’t that ppl are voting illegally (there are still guards to prevent that) but that it’s confusing.

Journalist can debate the ethics of the what Ken did but the fact that Twitter justice is doled out on one man’s whims is media malpractice.
Prior there was a team of accountable ppl setting/enforcing policy.

Honestly, his reasoning for not deleting the personal information in the dossier is just dumb. And I'm not sure we want his standard to be the one everyone else follows. (Does that merit a ban? I don't know. But it was a silly move by Ken.)

Him nitpicking the HotD writing choices (even if he’s correct) just seems petty as HotD is mostly following the book while GoT was totally off the rails.

I mean George did flat out say that in the drafts for S3 Helaena just offs herself for no particular reason. So removing Maelor did have an impact.

@ADragonDemands NOT ONCE did GRRM give Condal a pass due to cut episodes. They could have had Maelor in 8 episodes. They just had to cut out the filler scenes that drove the plot nowhere & DIDN'T advance character development. Note that Helaena killing herself for NO REASON is peak Condal/Hess

Like despite its flaws, HotD bends over backwards to NOT cut out characters or combine them and even goes so far as to leave open the possibility of them showing up later if they aren’t directly shown.

The reason he deleted it is probably that someone from HBO contacted him about spoiling Helaena's death and the reason for it (or lack thereof) in season 3.
