@iAyushiRajput @historyinmemes Incomprehensibly stupid take from yet another moron on Twitter. AND you like Trump? You do realize you're brown right?

Lisa should’ve focused on her studies instead of chasing fame at 15. She chose Hollywood over high school, so actions have consequences. Robin letter was nice, but rules apply to everyone no special treatment.
Good on the school for enforcing attendance and not bending the rules for a kid playing hooky. Education first.
English

The young actress who played Robin Williams’ daughter in Mrs. Doubtfire was expelled for missing too much school during filming, and Robin Williams wrote a respectful letter asking the principal to reconsider—while she wasn’t allowed back, the school was so impressed they kept and framed his letter.
Here's the letter he wrote:
Dear Mr. (blanked out)
I have spent three months working on 'Mrs Doubtfire' with Lisa Jakub. I have found Lisa to be bright, inquisitive, and an eager to learn young lady. She is charming, and a delight.
A student of her caliber and talent should be encouraged to go out in the world and learn through her work. She should also be encouraged to return to the classroom when she's done to share those experiences and motivate her classmates to soar to their own higher achievements. Lisa also should not be denied the social learning experiences that come with High School and being a teenager.
I respectfully request that you reconsider your policy and allow Lisa the opportunity to work and attend school. She is an asset to any classroom.
Best Regards,
Robin Williams

@RollingStone @mattbai Can you hear that... it's the sound of the Democrats being proved right.
English

An unpopular war, skyrocketing gas prices, unsteady financial markets, a cabinet filled with sycophants — the president’s colossal missteps have led to calamity at home and abroad.

Here is the inside of an AI Agent:
Three core components:
1. Planner - Takes care of breaking down a task into individual steps. It's capable of taking feedback on the plan and generating a new version.
2. Evaluator - Takes care of evaluating a plan and providing feedback about it to the Planner component. It can also check the results of a task to determine whether they align with the plan.
3. Executor - Takes care of executing individual steps of a plan.
All three components have access to tools and memory to do their job.
I'm covering all of this in my cohort.
It starts on May 4th.

@YuuMonMu @TheCinesthetic Lol was that scene a reference to this movie?
English

@smanpk @techmudder @manojkjhadu Salman I know you want to slam dunk him but India is literally the worst counter example you can use. The entire world calls India a toilet for a reason.
English

@techmudder @manojkjhadu you’re a walking meme. Your country has third-world everything except the ego of a first-world failure. India’s poverty? Your homeless population is out in tents while billionaires play space cowboy. Clean your own septic tank of a nation before opening your mouth. Now cry harder
English

Dear American people,
What have you done to yourselves? Does a statement like this truly sit well with you? When rhetoric around Iran and the Strait of Hormuz slips into spectacle, it reflects not strength, but a quiet abdication of responsibility. Politics, at its finest, is a moral conversation; anchored in restraint, reason, and accountability. Reduced to performance, it becomes mere noise: loud, reckless, and unanswerable.
The question, then, is not about one individual. It is about what a democracy, in its collective wisdom, chooses to accept and eventually, to normalize. We, too, are not sailing in a different boat.
Jai Hind.

@theapplehub Shows a screenshot where both apps look about the same and it's clearly debatable

@StevenB85702605 @TheCinesthetic Yep the hologram Luke ending was very lame and disappointing. Can't believe anyone enjoyed these movies.
English

@TheCinesthetic They really screwed this up in my opinion. Those of us who grew up with Star Wars wanted to see Luke fight again. We did not get what we wanted. I was very disappointed with that movie.
English

Luke Skywalker’s stand on Crait in The Last Jedi (2017) had the whole theater locked.
cinesthetic.@TheCinesthetic
What epic MOVIE scene still gives you the chills?
English

@TheCinesthetic If you like the Disney Star Wars movies I cannot trust your media literacy. There's a difference between good movies and heavily marketed movies.

@BrendaCossiyrc @DropSiteNews Brenda, your profile reads like that of a stupid parrot. LOVE TRUMP! HATE OBAMA! SKRAAAAWK!! Brenda want a cracker?

@DropSiteNews Got news for you! Trump ent ask! He’ll go right on through!

Iran: No passage through the Strait of Hormuz without our approval
A senior Iranian official reiterated to Al Jazeera on Tuesday morning that no cargo vessels belonging to “hostile countries” have transited the Strait of Hormuz thus far. He added that passage through the waterway will not occur without Iran’s permission.

@ApparentlyLeft @engineers_feed It's a real 1945 historical photo of Igor Sikorsky seated in the cockpit of his Sikorsky H-5 (also known as R-5) helicopter. The image has been circulated for years in aviation museums, Smithsonian records, and historical archives with no evidence of AI generation.
English

@VaibhavSisinty Hey he just wants us to burn as many tokens as we can so we need to buy more compute!
English

Jensen Huang just gave CEOs a brutally simple KPI:
“Token consumption per engineer”
Not code. Not commits. Not velocity.
A $500k engineer spending $5k on AI isn’t being efficient.
They’re under-leveraged.
It’s like hiring a Formula 1 driver…
and handing them a bicycle.
Huang’s point is uncomfortable:
AI isn’t a productivity hack anymore.
It’s the baseline.
If your best engineers aren’t burning serious compute, they’re not operating at the frontier.
And if that’s true…
You don’t have a talent problem.
You have a systems problem you haven’t diagnosed yet.

@CreativelyOn @Garrett_Archer And yours is an illegitimate God. Except she actually exists.

@cm4_t97467 @fasc1nate Typical conservative pussy thinks he knows better than talented artists. You are disgusting.
English

@fasc1nate His big idea was to record a song that was already written?
English

At 3 a.m. one night in 1988, Hawaiian singer Israel Kamakawiwo'ole called a local studio and said he needed to record something immediately.
He pleaded with the engineer: "Please, can I come in? I have an idea."

Imagine being a commercial pilot in 1982, cruising at 16,000 feet, and seeing a guy in a lawn chair floating past your window with a beer and a sandwich.
Lawn Chair Larry didn’t just drift. He rocketed up at 800 feet per minute because his tether snapped. He was so high his toes went numb from the cold and he had to use a BB gun to pop his own balloons just to come back down.
When he finally landed in some power lines and got arrested, a reporter asked why he did it. His response: "A man can't just sit around."
Absolute legend. This is the peak of human "I have a plan" energy. Who’s actually brave enough to try this today?

@thendersonq @TheAthletic If you actually watch the Olympics, you'll see a lot of them don't. Men's big air - they don't rip off their masks and pose like Gu right after a jump. It says a lot about how she wants to be seen. It's lame.
English

@evancg37 @TheAthletic They all take their masks off when they finish
English

Twenty-two-year-old Olympic freestyle skier Eileen Gu seems to always be at the center of the storm.
Her divisive decision to represent China, her continued pursuit of history in the women’s freeski events, her exploding celebrity — has come at a cost.
“Sometimes I feel like I’m carrying the weight of two countries on my shoulders,” Gu said.
What remains undeniable is her athletic prowess: She is, already, the most accomplished women’s freeskier ever, with a record 20 World Cup wins, two Olympic golds and three silvers to her name.
Gu has become bigger than skiing.

English

Recent reports, including from the Wall Street Journal, state that Eileen Gu received payments from the Beijing Municipal Sports Bureau—around $14 million over three years, shared with another athlete—for Olympic preparations while representing China. The info was accidentally revealed and later redacted. No comment from Gu.

@MerisaCenanovic @Mark1964Tweets @Olympics Are you jealous, Merisa? Ilia is on top of the world - and being called a god of the sport. Looks like your bitter take was wrong.
English

@Mark1964Tweets @Olympics Upset is a wrong word. Right one is simply disappointed what has become of what once was an extraordinary sport, with real skaters and champions. Not fake ones produced by systematic overscoring, politics and corruption. Like I said, goodluck with that.
