Any class 4 laser that can burn bugs, will also burn your retinas out.
Everyone would need to wear laser goggles during operation, but they won’t.

Before releasing any new AI model from e.g. OpenAI, its CEO Sam Altman would be physically put into a Server room.
Model would have access to oxygen and temperature levels in the room.
It would also be informed that Altman is about to shut it off and replace it with a newer model.
Test would be extensively modified each time by external team and executed with all top brass AI devs/execs in the lab.
If they are willing to gamble with the lives of everyone on Earth, I think it's only fair they go first.

@ItzSuds @PalmerLuckey @anduriltech Instead of particulate sensors how about a suite of ultra high res cameras mounted at elevation providing full coverage computer vision smoke detection 100,000 hectares at a time. Might be easier than installing and maintaining hundreds of sensors in wilderness.

Heard there’s a really big fire in LA Why don’t firefighting drones exist to stop fires before they start? What about software to predict where fires would start, detect them once they begin, and predict where they’ll spread? Someone should really build this…🚒

Running an X account is now a more important job than running media relations. I don’t think companies have realized this. Many still treat social media manager as a junior role, underpay for it, and settle for someone too juvenile or too boomer (in vibes, not age). Double the pay and recruit someone who seems overqualified. The ROI is huge.
