@twostraws Sounds like SpriteKit is not long for this world. I really would have liked to see Apple roll out a 2D/3D/Spatial gaming engine and framework for Apple platforms this year, so we wouldn't necessarily have to look for 3rd party options like Godot or Unity. Maybe someday.

Now that SceneKit is formally deprecated in iOS 26, it seems inevitable that SpriteKit won't be far behind. It's such a shame – it's such a delightful framework, and Apple doesn't have a replacement for it 😔
