Jeff Liaw CEO of $CPRT is stepping down and being replaced by Jay Adair Jay was the prior the CEO and Jeff was the 3rd CEO in the company’s entire history. (The first was the founder and Jay was there since the beginning too) Honestly hard to interpret this, but unless it’s health related, it seems to give credence to the concern that the market share losses to Progressive weren’t entirely driven by insurer market dynamics

Last Monday, I shared with you in real time as I was buying $AMZN in 500 share lots at $232-233. On Wednesday, I shared as I sold at $240. It later ended day at $234. I also told you that at $226-229 I will be buying up to 5,000 shares. That's exactly what I did on Thursday. Today, I have sold all but 1,000 of my shares from last week which yes, were at $226. Actually, it undercut to just below in high 225s but that's not on chart, as it was only for seconds. I don't even think a full minute. I got that price, too. This leaves me with 3,000 *new* $AMZN shares in 2026, which I also shared with you in real-time as I was buying: 1,000 at $198 from earnings drop afterhours on Feb 5th. I posted this as I bought while on Stairmaster. You can multitask only if you know ahead of time your game plan. 1,000 at $198-199 on March 27th. When you net the realized gains on the sold shares from past few days, these keepers from Thursday are really a net cost in $210s. That means my new 3,000 shares this year average $205. This is what I mean when I say I cost basis optimize, I do not T-word. Everything I buy is with intent to keep, I just want the best price possible to minimize downside risk as much as possible. I also know exactly what I will do in each scenario before the scenario happens. Plan, plan, plan, and then execute if/when it happens.
