It was so exciting to see some of my students back at school on Monday. It’s one thing for them to be learning face to face but it’s another thing for them to interact and socialise with friends they haven’t seen in weeks. #acuedu_p

I really connected to this weeks tutorial about parent interaction. Especially as this week my mentor added my email to the online learning activities as a means of communication for both parents and students to contact me regarding the online science unit I designed. #acuedu_p

Really enjoyed learning about how to timetable for not only effectiveness but also for the purpose of organisation and time management which is an aspect of my teaching that I am still aiming to improve. #acuedu_p

In EDFD I have learnt about the implementation of the Alice Springs education declaration. It is clearer and more succinct than the Melbourne declaration with goals regarding excellence and equity, along with students becoming creative, confident and successful #acuedu_p

Spent this week planning for the term ahead by learning about other online platforms that aim to make learning both easier and effective for students and staff. Really enjoyed learning about google classroom and teacher dashboard for my stage 2 class. #acuedu_p

Would highly recommend @HeyPobble. We use it as one of our rotations in literacy groups and it really encourages students to create engaging texts. It would be a fantastic resource to implement during online learning #acuedu_p

With there now being more staff attending school than students, we have introduced a roster where we are taking turns to work from home. It’s all about adapting to the circumstances and supporting each other during this time. #acuedu_p

Yesterday with my mentor, we began designing modules for our students to start learning from home. We found many awesome online resources like read theory and inquisitive. I am so lucky to have such a supportive mentor to guide me through this year #acuedu_p
