If there has ever been a season where the Yankees need to go 100% all-in at the trade deadline, it's this season. Judge is 34, Cole is 35, Giancarlo is 36. Plus the team is incredibly, unbelievably good. Do whatever it takes to be the best.

Jed Ortmeyer was a hard working player when he was a Ranger, but he should have never been named Director of Player Development when he was a journey 3rd/4th liner a majority of his career. Hoping they can hire someone that has a really good track record of developing players

@rmny1976 Jones is legit, dwarfs Williams HR total and like it or not, thats what they look at first but Im saying, everyone tries to make a case vs. the worst guy instead of the best guy. Compare to Mantle, Mays, Aaron not Baines, Raines, Oliva, etc. Keep the Hall elite

I agree, but another comparison would be Andreu Jones Jones had more power and was better defensively which is why he has the higher WAR. Bernie was a better overall hitter, especially in the clutch. They had almost identical RBI numbers even though Jones played longer than Bernie. Bernie had a higher career OPS and OPS+. Bernie also won 4 championships and is still the ML leader for RBI in the playoffs with 80 over the course of his career The numbers for the most part are very similar both players should be in Cooperstown.

Bernie should be in the HOF The fact he’s not and Harold Baines is a HOF is a complete joke.

The Yankees don’t HAVE TO fit Volpe back into the mix. There’s no need to try and fit a square peg into a round hole. Volpe isn’t entitled to anything. He doesn’t “deserve” anything. Shortstop is not guaranteed to be his. And when Caballero falls off, Lombard Jr should take over.
