Amed Rosario feels like a piece that’s been missing from the Yankees for a very long time. He’s so incredibly clutch, immense clubhouse presence, reliable defensively, amongst so much else. He reminds me of a bottom of the order guy from the dynasty era.

The Yankees don’t HAVE TO fit Volpe back into the mix. There’s no need to try and fit a square peg into a round hole. Volpe isn’t entitled to anything. He doesn’t “deserve” anything. Shortstop is not guaranteed to be his. And when Caballero falls off, Lombard Jr should take over.
