@HudsonExtron @AnfieldEdition It’s a miracle in terms of Salah having a freak of season and city dropping off Without city - klopp wins more than 1 prem title

@AnfieldEdition Calling it a miracle makes sense - they’ve managed just 2 titles in almost 36 years.

No one is taking away from Slot winning the title in his first season, but painting it as a "miracle" when he inherited a team that finished 3rd with 82 points is laughable. Liverpool Football Club winning a Premier League should never be a "miracle".

@lfcG122 I wished he would just shoot at 0:13 where he took out two players there was space to shoot we need him to step up and shoot, influence games more it’s not about making too much passes He costs 100m it’s games like this that shows if he’s worth it

Couldnt believe what I was seeing the first ~20' Guy was genuinely imposing himself physically v PL players, we havent seen that nearly enough this season and everyone who's aware of Wirtz as a player knows for a fact that he's more than capable of doing so. Need more of it

@WilsonCoxLFC @_pauljoyce @David_Ornstein @JamesPearceLFC Give him Time. He won us the league last season. We cannot become a sacking club if the next manager does not get results quick. We cannot become Man UTD. Bring up PSG we are gonna win the Champions League and Give Arne Slot a long term Contract. In Arne Slot we Trust YNWA

@MegggFN @AnfieldEdition @_pauljoyce We don’t need 2 center backs, if konate renews we don’t need another 4cb is okay Chambers or scanlon can be a backup option at lb. We just need rw, lw, Rb and midfield rebuild

All this fuss because @Carra23 had the audacity to rank Mo Salah sixth - behind Steven Gerrard, Kenny Dalglish, Graeme Souness, John Barnes and Ian Rush. SIXTH. At Liverpool Football Club. One of the most decorated and historic clubs in world football… Do people have any idea how absurd they’re being?! Do you know how highly regarded you must be to be put in SIXTH?! You’d think he’d put him 56th!!!
Asim@asim_lfc

Salah’s first incident in 9 years where he was involved in a spat and @Carra23 changes his mind from top 5 initially, then arguably 1st after delivering on the conditions set by himself and then miraculously pops up in 6th. It’s ok to have your own personal lists as it’s down to your own wonderful way of defining greatness and what the players mean to you from different generations but this isn’t fair. How many greats handed transfer requests in? How many legends left the club? How many gave exclusives to the rag? But do we let that get in the way? No because they’re humans and we’re all allowed to make mistakes. And that’s why we must not let the drama in December be reflective of @MoSalah’ legacy. It feels like Carragher can’t fully accept just how great Salah has been, so instead of celebrating it, he’s nitpicking and magnifying the one tiny crack he can find. That’s where the bitterness shows. Because if you’re being honest, you look at the full body of work — the goals, the consistency, the impact — and you give credit where it’s due. But this? This feels like a deliberate attempt to undermine and malign a hero, rather than celebrate everything he represents. And in the end, that says more about Carragher than it ever will of the great Mohamed Salah. #LFC

@exteeslly @TheKopWatch @Carra23 😂😂mane became elite for one season, and even then shared the golden boot with Salah. I remember throwing my phone repeatedly at the amount of chances mane used to miss. He had half of Salah’s output every season bar 1.

🚨 BREAKING: Marc Cucurella : “Back to La Liga?” 🗣️ Cucurella: “You always think about coming back, I’m very happy at London and Chelsea, so is my family, I’ll leave it for a few years from now” “But what about if Barca calls?” 🗣️ Cucurella: “It’s clear that if those situations arose, they’re difficult to recuse, I’d have to consider it and talk to my family, I’m not thinking about that right now, if it happens, we will see what decision to make” 🤔 (@FlashscoreES)

Uli Hoeneß on Harry Kane's worth in today's market: "It was a bit of a risk [spending around €100m on him in 2023]. But he's played incredibly well for us in recent years. If we consider the price-performance ratio, I'd say 150 million. But then you see that Alexander Isak of Liverpool cost 150 million euros. If he's worth 150 million, then Harry is worth 250 million euros" [@kicker]

vibe around club is so rotten right now. Slot FC fans are battling the others one a daily while our performances stink and we keep racking up loses. Legendary players leaving, Klopp era players almost all gone. Ticket prices up. We desperately need a change to lift the club/fans

Who even needs Olise. We can get Akliouche + Diomande + Ayoub Bouaddi for the same price we'll pay for one Olise. Get Archie Gray for HG quota too. Inject lots of young, dynamic, highly technical players who want to make a name for themselves. Bring our intensity back up.

RC Lens officially communicating their opposition to request made by PSG to postpone their league match in between Liverpool UCL matches. It’s a matter of footballing principle & respect for the integrity of the league as per their release notes
