Um ano desde o lançamento de um dos melhores episódios da TV atual

I love a shorter game, but not when I've paid #65+ for it. 007 First Light looks fun, but I'll definitely wait for a sale now.

Gentlemen. SecWar’s ‘meritocracy system’ selects, awards, and positions newly promoted Brigadier Generals based on individual abilities, efforts, and achievements rather than social status or privilege. With current military war efforts, intelligence, solid experience, and combat experience is likely at the top of the requirements list. Who knows. Promotions within the officer ranks are fierce, as general officers have tremendous responsibility and their decisions have serious impacts and consequences. You’ve watched administration changes every four years, right? The first changes always involve replacements of staffs, which includes general officers in some positions. Tell me, if you were the Boss, or Secretary, or CEO of some company, would you promote individuals that are ideologically incompatible with your vision or business models? What if you required physical fitness for an 18-month intense mission? Would your candidates matter? They sure as shit would and should. I mentioned as a young female Sergeant in an Officer Selection Board process, that my commission was set aside in order to promote more male officers needed immediately after 9/11. There were several other females of various races that experienced the same commissioning denial as I did. We wore the uniform. We understood. We didn’t run to the Tucker Carlson show to cry and wine about discrimination. The board needed SMs with Ranger qualifications, those that were weapon system SMEs, other. It wasn’t a big deal to any of us females, in fact months later at the next board, we all received our commissions. I do not personally know the two black males or two females excluded from the promotion list. I speak on my experiences only and I would add that current chaotic times are likely driving different promotion needs. And we should all agree that our SMs deserve the best of the best when it comes to placement of these newly promoted general officers. You decide. Ask those four Colonels why they were deemed unfit or unqualified. Maybe they were qualified but the military needed to prioritize other skill sets? This type of thing seems to happen in every administration. Me? I trust the promotion selection boards and processes. The board members thoroughly review records and make the recommendations. SecWar pushes to POTUS, who then recommends promotion with the Senate. It’s political more than anything. General officer promotions are unlike any other promotion processes in any of the Armed Services. The recent promotion list links are pasted below. I trust the process. I don’t know the personal bias or other claims turning great people into piranhas and shit talkers. And when you review these lists like I did, I hope the last thing you do is look up their race or sex and trust that the best candidates got the promotions. As the Pentagon purges some minorities and women from high-ranking positions, the message being sent to lower-ranking officers is that “they will be assessed on the basis of their gender, race, or politics, rather than their abilities,” @AdamSerwer writes: theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/04/…

If you’ve never worn a uniform, listen up, please. Promotion to a one-star general (Brigadier General/Rear Admiral Lower Half) is a highly competitive, selective process requiring 20–25+ years of service, usually as a Colonel (O-6), and completion of Senior Service College (War College). Candidates must have flawless records, key leadership roles (brigade/wing command), and joint-service experience. Nominations are made by the President, with advice from service secretaries, and require Senate confirmation. Secretary Hegseth @DeptofWar, as well as @POTUS, are informed by a board of senior general officers tasked to review officers’ files, and only the top performers (often <1% of original commissioning class) are placed on the promotion list. So let’s stop the racial division and nonsense today. The removal of these officers is not a race, or sex issue. Why would I say this? There were times in my service journey where officer commissioning boards were accepting only male candidates because of combat leadership needs prior to former conflicts. I accepted that. I’m a female. I eventually got my commission. Know what I didn’t do? I didn’t cry myself to the newspaper to cry wolf over crap. If the females or other officers weren’t selected by the nominating board, there you go. That’s all you need to know. And it’s not just SecWar and POTUS red-inking lists like you want to believe. The board determined these officers unfit or unqualified. End of story. Next? ♠️🇺🇸🦅

@YorchTorchGames This is what happens when developers lose sight of the fact that they work for gamers. Developers need to keep activism out of gaming.
