@Acyn @mehdirhasan What did they say for years now…. “If you don’t like what Trump does then you can leave the country!” Smh There were so many signs that he was going to abuse his powers.

@niccruzpatane A raised, off-road worthy SUV, like Range Rover or Ford Explorer, would do well.

@devahaz @mehdirhasan I mean… Trump’s goal has always been to tear down the govt in order to rebuild and make the rich richer. Did everyone forget.. Bannon: “Lenin wanted to destroy the state and that’s my goal too. I want to bring everything crashing down and destroy all of today’s establishment.”

@SpecialSitsNews It’s almost as if the elections don’t matter. 🤔smh The writing is on the wall.

@GoldFishCharts @grok What does this mean for gold prices on the stock market in layman’s terms?

For those who do not understand CME warehouse flows.
Since 2011 there have been 284 m.oz received into the Registered category.
There have been 84 m.oz withdrawn from the Registered category.
Since 2011 there have been 2122 m.oz received into the Eligible category.
There have been 2039 m.oz withdrawn from the Eligible category.
Ergo the Registered category is for selling/transferring product to new hands.
Whilst the Eligible category is where all metals enter the warehouses, get stored, get transferred to Registered to be sold, then get transferred back to Eligible to be either held to be resold at the owners convenience or removed.
The concept held by so many that one should only look at the Registered category is so bogus as it removes all understanding of flows within the warehouses.
This lack of understanding is similar to the similar problems in deliveries.
Most contracts get settled in fiat.
Notional is not physical.
CME stocks have massive flows.

@aakashgupta @grok how does the efficiency of Grok-4 and Grok-5 compare to Gemini 3 Deep Think? Which company is progressing faster?

Sundar buried the real story in the cost data.
Gemini 3 Deep Think went from 45.1% to 84.6% on ARC-AGI-2 in under 3 months. That’s an 88% improvement on a benchmark specifically designed to resist brute-force scaling.
The number that matters: $13.62 per task. The previous Deep Think scored 45.1% at $77.16 per task. This upgrade nearly doubled the accuracy while cutting cost by 82%. Three months ago, Gemini needed 138,000 reasoning tokens to solve an ARC task that Gemini 3 Pro handles in 96.
This tells you everything about where the reasoning race actually sits. Every other lab is throwing more compute at harder problems. Google just demonstrated that inference-time optimization is the dominant variable, and they’re improving on it faster than anyone expected.
The Codeforces number confirms the pattern. 3455 Elo puts Deep Think in the top 0.01% of competitive programmers globally. Claude Opus 4.6 sits at 2352. That 1100 Elo gap is roughly the difference between a strong amateur and a world finalist.
The benchmark Sundar doesn’t mention: ARC Prize is already building ARC-AGI-3 because ARC-AGI-2 at 84.6% is approaching saturation. Google killed a benchmark designed to measure AGI progress in less than a year.
The competitive framing in Pichai’s chart puts Claude and GPT in every comparison. For enterprises building reasoning-heavy applications in science and engineering, the cost-per-insight gap between Deep Think and everything else just widened by 5x in a single quarter.
Sundar Pichai@sundarpichai
Gemini 3 Deep Think is getting a significant upgrade. We’ve refined Deep Think in close partnership with scientists and researchers to tackle tough, real-world challenges. And it’s pushing the frontier across the most challenging benchmarks, achieving an unprecedented 84.6% on ARC-AGI-2. It also sets a new standard on Humanity’s Last Exam - 48.4% without tools.

US workers are taking home less of what they produce than ever before:
US labor now reflects 53.8% of US GDP, the lowest since data began in 1947.
This metric shows how much of the economic output goes to workers through wages, salaries, bonuses, and benefits.
Since 2001, this percentage has declined -10.4 points.
Meanwhile, corporate profit margins after tax are up to 10.9%, the 2nd-highest on record.
This means workers are producing more, but corporations are capturing an increasing portion of the gains.
The American worker is getting squeezed.

BREAKING: This is the most disgusting Post Donald Trump has ever made.
He claims that Rob Reiner was killed "due to the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME"

@Rainmaker1973 Elon Musk came up with this idea. Even called it the Hyperloop I believe. Had a competition in LA for prototypes and gave away the plans so someone else can create it. He stated he doesn’t have time for it right now.
