no idea if the OP is serious here but I got my start on the path to darkness when during E.T. the thought "this movie is emotionally manipulative" entered my brain at age 10

E.T. the movie uses manipulative music to make you believe it’s “interesting” to let a horrible alien crawl into your house and touch your children , forming “unspoken bonds” with them.

I'm imagining my friend Matt being transported to prehistoric times. He would be in awe of the sky, the sounds, and the dinosaurs soaring above him. The history of the world would crescendo in his soul, making him feel reborn; new.
