The Oct 7 attack & war that followed contributed to increasing the frequency of attacks carried out in Europe and led to a growth in the number of attacks against Jewish and Israeli targets; however, it did not have profound effects on the level of organization and the severity of these acts of violence

IS has called on its followers and 'lone mujahideen' to exploit and draw 'inspiration' from the LA fires, urging them to carry out arson attacks targeting forests, buildings, malls, and other structures. In the past, the group has consistently called for such attacks and has executed them in Iraq and Syria, often focusing on farms and crops during periods of high temperatures, dry seasons, or harvest time in order to cause economic damage.
