@TradeVolatility A few years ago, it was all about liquidity. While it is somewhat impactful now, not like 0DTE and gamma profiles

$QQQ is +38% over the past year. Who here has a portfolio that is lagging that?

@MenthorQpro That's really incredible. Is it possible there are some moonshot calls in there that affect the skew like this?Seems like there might be more risk out there than these longer dated calls might suggest. I have no idea.

6/ The longer-dated structure reveals an interesting profile: Mid-June (6/18) carries $128M in gamma, and year-end (12/31) has an outsized $202M concentration with a skewed 0.08 put/call ratio. That's decidedly bullish structural positioning.

SPY net flow has crossed over to join SPX net flow in being put dominated. When combined with the gamma wall on both 0dte and All Exp holding at 740 it looks like we may be setting up for a pullback on profit taking. A breakdown of the rising wedge would take SPY to 690, but I see pauses along the way at 720, 711, and 695. If we pull back to 690 I think we bottom there and then turn and head up to 750. I do not think we go any lower than 690 as my window for a deeper correction is now closed until the end of August. What can frustrate things is Monthly OpEx is this week so we could pin to this level this week and then end up pulling back next week. Keep in mind we don't have monthly VIXperation until NEXT WEEK, so those looking for downside don't have that Vol unmooring event this Wednesday, and we've seen in the past that when VIXperation lags Monthly OpEx there tends to be more significant swings in stocks.

@DKellerCMT VIX has a tendency to fall on Fridays. It is up at the moment, with the SPX up 0.8%. That ain't regular.

Investor: "OMG what's happening in the Middle East? Are interest rates back up? What about crude oil? Wait the jobs number came in strong, what now?!?" $VIX: "Dude. Just chill out." $VIX < 20 = "Please disperse, there's nothing to see here."

Moment of truth, we either break this level and head to 740 or we head down to the bottom of the wedge here.

Despite today's move, QQQ is still in the ascending broadening wedge and there has been a lot of buy activity in the 660P this morning. Multiple separate sweep orders to open. Clusters like this tend to be more reliable than a single large order. Given that today's move is at the top of the wedge and AMD earnings are today after a historic run up, I think the logic here is AMD will drop on earnings due to frontrunning and take QQQ with it.
