@faheyc3 I think the main issue was that the biological plausibility wasn’t really there in the first instance. ACE and ACE2 have very different roles and essentially oppose one another in RAS homeostasis. Great to see more data rolling out.

Further example why advice should follow the science. American College of Cardiology got this right when early evidence was weak. Biological plausibility ≠ real life implications. nejm.org/doi/full/10.10…
