@peppesilletti @jkakar User story are a placeholder for a discussion... when you start a card you just speak with the role that can give you the information that you need.

The idea that a JIRA ticket should have so much information in it that anyone can pick it up, do the task, and verify acceptance criteria is asinine. So much effort to avoid talking to each other. My mind boggles at this stuff.

Imagine having 4 cofounders at a VC funded startup 🥹 Selling for $100M Diluted to 10% ownership by VCs Tax takes 50% Go home with $1.25M cash after 6 years working 7 days a week 12 hours per day or $47/hour Many people on Upwork make more than that!

@giansegato @levelsio After most of the exits, the company and its product die… If you want to leave a mark, vc are not a good option…

@levelsio founders are very seldom financially motivated. usually the goal is to build massive companies that leave a mark. sounds corny, but it's true. money comes later, it's all about ambition also, secondaries are a thing 😌 i don't get why bootstrappers shit on founders so much tbh

Until now, this is the best article I read (maybe also because it's one of the few about UI-Platform teams, since usually the platform is the infrastructure) Thinking in platform - What does it mean to be in a UI Platform team disq.us/t/39vhfym

In @HasuraHQ we are now split in Feature teams and one Platform team. The mindset transition requires time, either for the company and for us. As part of the Platform team, we need to be sure we prioritize our customer needs, and our customers are... Feature team's engineers! 👇

@jwage I love when companies use customers as a way to share information between their teams 😅

I reported a bug to a big company that I pay > $4000 a month to and they asked me to report the bug on GitHub for them. I said "no thanks, I'll let you all do the development for your product/business and I'll just keep paying you"
