Haven’t found “stark contrast.” Most contrast is in discussing policy, which is avoided like plague. Both parties preaching to choir at conventions. All parties talk about hope, unity, optimism, freedom, opportunity, family, etc. Devil’s in the details…of which there are few.

No, soccer fans' political persuasions aren't the problem. The problem is using those persuasions to directly/indirectly exclude, intimidate, or judge. You stand next to those you disagree with politically, but you're united in support and love of team, sport, and experience.

But *Trump* can't tell us which it was. That's my point. He doesn't know.

@joshtpm I really gave the benefit of doubt the first week that it was just a miraculously slight graze from a bullet because--seriously--who really cares? I was more annoyed at the media & lack of official transparency.
