Muslim: You’re wasting your time in Christianity, worshipping Jesus, who was a Muslim and practiced Islam. Me: Wait… Jesus practiced Islam? Muslim: Yes! He preached the oneness of God, said his shahada in John 17:3, bowed like Muslims, and even greeted like Muslims. Me: Nice… so what does Allah say Muslims should do if they’re persecuted? Quran 2:193? Muslim: Uh… checking… why do you ask? Me: Let’s read it together, I want to show you something. Muslim: You have to read the context to understand. Me: Don’t panic: “Fight against them if they persecute you until there is no more persecution, and your devotion will be to Allah alone. If they stop persecuting you, let there be no hostility except against the aggressors.” So basically, if anyone persecutes you… fight back. Right? Muslim: Yes… but only against persecutors, not innocent people. Me: Fair enough. Now let me show you what Jesus said about persecutors. Muslim: Okay… Me: “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you.” – Matthew 5:44 Does that sound like Islamic teaching to you? Muslim: Jesus brought a peaceful message. He wasn’t fighting wars like Muhammad. Muhammed was greatly persecuted, that’s why the verse came. Me: Jesus and his followers were persecuted too. Romans oppressed them. He could have fought back… but he didn’t. Not even an excuse. Muslim: Well… your Bible is corrupted anyway. He probably never said that. Me: Wait… earlier you said Jesus was Muslim because he prayed and taught oneness of God. Where did you get that? Muslim: Not from your Bible… from other books like the Book of Barnabas, your Bible is corrupted that’s fact. Me: Cool… can you show me your source? Muslim: Uh… next time I come across it, I’ll show you. Me: Show me now, I want to see it. Muslim: typing… deleted… typing… deleted… silent Me: Hello? Are you there? Muslim: I have to go to the mosque now… we’ll continue later. May Allah guide you to Islam. Me: 😭🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

@Ellen_Lee3 @KenThomas890320 @Mikeggibbs I heard that was for the Jab. Each shot starts wearing off after 3 months. Covid confers longer lasting immunity. Of course, for high risk people, you have to be able to survive it, so the jab helps there.

Most people don't want to accept they have COVID. They come up with ludicrous explanations to explain why they're sick but it's definitely not COVID. Because they don't want to admit they didn't get vaccinated. I got news for them: 1. If you're sick with cold and fluey symptoms right now in Canada YOU HAVE COVID. 2. If you're having a rough time with it, you could have been less sick if only you bothered to get vaccinated. 3. You could have prevented getting sick altogether, or prevented making everyone else sick in your life, if only you wore a mask around sick people, or wore a mask when you were sick in public places. 4. Stop putting your ego first and OWN IT! Do you plan on growing up and acting like an adult in this lifetime? 5. Be a better example for those around you so that we all may live better more healthy lives.

@TLDWdeasoN @t7_linda Yes. We need PP for his policies, but a pretty face who looks good in a suit. Bonus points for a radio friendly voice, clever words, and an MBA. People don't vote for policy, they vote for smooth talkers who tell them what they want to hear. Canada is broke and getting broker.

That's why I'm struggling with your energy and focus directing all your anger solely at Poilievre for losing the last election. It's been a year, yes there were mistakes, lots to learn from and lots to do differently. It's really not evident to me that Wall, Kenny, MacKay, Baillsille, Barret, Brock, or some other conservative would be a sure W against Carney right now.

Pierre Poilievre's salary is $ 322,700 to criticize our country, PM Carney only gets $104,500 more than that to run our country. That's where the outrage needs to be !

@Myself9752465 @kim_gaetz More than Carney. And his salary is not unreasonable. We aren't going broke over his salary, but try adding up the salaries of the increased 40% on the government payroll. Even if they made a tenth of that it would add up. Plus all the additional spending budgets.

@Coffey4Canada2 @krisster8 Only a fool would support the current high rates of taxation. Whose side are you on? The government, who is taking too much of our money? You seem ignorant for advocating for continued taxation and criticizing Pierre's efforts to reduce the cost of living. Get a grip

🚨🇨🇦 The receipts are finally coming for the Carney government. 🏛️ U.S. investigator @nickshirleyy just confirmed Canada is his next target. While the "Adults in the Room" are vacationing in Rome, an American YouTuber is about to do the auditing they’ve been dodging for a year. The Hit List for Nick: ❌ The $26 Billion consultant bill. ❌ The 1.9 Million expiring visas with zero exit tracking. ❌ The "Indigenous" shell company scams revealed this morning. @Tara22221 @funtomvids Which is a great idea. We are desperate for trades people. University is essential for some professions, but many programs have led to "educated" unemployed adults with high debt.

🟥 Pierre Poilievre doesn't believe in education. When have you ever heard him speak on it, other than consistently attacking international students? 🤷🏻‍♂️ We know why. He is of that right-wing belief that a less educated population is easier to manipulate and control. Thank goodness we have a Prime Minister who believes in investing in the future. 📖 ✅

@GeneralVentures @jeffreytucker Some filed and won lawsuits to let Ivermectin be used in specific cases. People had to fight to protect their family members from protocols in hospitals that had been found to be deadly in other countries.

@jeffreytucker If it worked so well, why didn't the people complaining do something about it? Monday morning quarterbacks. Anyone is free to run clinical trials to prove a therapy is safe and effective. Need to comply with regs and gather the risk capital, but free to do.

@Richvideo1 @jeffreytucker Why did they go so far? Lupus patients use Ivermectin but lost access in many areas. It wasn't dangerous. If it wasn't working with zinc, doctors would have moved on voluntarily without having to threaten their licenses. They kept Remdesiver, that was far riskier. Profit?

@Richvideo1 @jeffreytucker Based on what? Licensed medical were using it successfully before it was blocked for not being approved, not for not working. Two American studies were designed to fail. Not the method, but the parameters. If it wasn't working, doctors would have dropped it for something else.

@Richvideo1 @jeffreytucker Then why did they fight so hard against Ivermectin? Many pharmacies wouldn't honor a prescription for Ivermectin for other purposes unless the doctor would swear that it would not be used for Covid. Sometimes, not even then. Ivermectin wasn't dangerous, especially with a doctor.

𝗙𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗛𝗕𝗔𝗖𝗞: 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗕 𝗪𝗢𝗠𝗔𝗡 𝗪𝗛𝗢 𝗦𝗔𝗜𝗗 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗡𝗢𝗕𝗢𝗗𝗬 𝗪𝗔𝗦 𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗢𝗪𝗘𝗗 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗔𝗬 — 𝗢𝗡 𝗔𝗟 𝗝𝗔𝗭𝗘𝗘𝗥𝗔. In 2006, a Syrian-American psychiatrist named Wafa Sultan sat down on Al Jazeera and said something that sent a shockwave through the Arab world. Not a Western conservative. Not an Israeli spokesman. An Arab woman, raised Muslim, speaking in Arabic, on the most-watched Arabic television network on earth. She opened with a simple principle: 𝘉𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳, 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘷𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘴, 𝘢𝘴 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘢𝘵 𝘮𝘦. Believe what you want. But other people's beliefs are not your concern. Then she drew the contrast that made this clip travel around the world: The Jews came out of the Holocaust and forced the world to respect them — 𝗻𝗼𝘁 with terror, not with crying and yelling, but with work and knowledge. Fifteen million people scattered across the globe, producing the greatest scientific discoveries of the 19th and 20th centuries. United. Effective. Earned. Then the challenge, delivered directly: 𝘞𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘢 𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘭𝘦 𝘑𝘦𝘸 𝘣𝘭𝘰𝘸 𝘩𝘪𝘮𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧 𝘶𝘱 𝘪𝘯 𝘢 𝘎𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘵. 𝘞𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘢 𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘭𝘦 𝘑𝘦𝘸 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘺 𝘢 𝘤𝘩𝘶𝘳𝘤𝘩. 𝘞𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘢 𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘭𝘦 𝘑𝘦𝘸 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘣𝘺 𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦. Then the Buddha statues — the Taliban had just blown up the ancient Bamiyan Buddhas in Afghanistan. She noted: not a single Buddhist burned a mosque, k!lled a Muslim, or destroyed an embassy in response. Not one. Her conclusion was not an attack on a faith. It was a demand for accountability from a civilization: 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘔𝘶𝘴𝘭𝘪𝘮𝘴 𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘢𝘴𝘬 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘥𝘰 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘥, 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘥𝘦𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮. The host sat there with nothing to say. Wafa Sultan paid a price for that appearance. D∗ath threats. Exile. The full machinery of religious fury directed at a woman who had the audacity to hold a mirror up to her own civilization. She looked anyway. This clip is almost twenty years old. Watch it and ask yourself how much of what she said has changed — and how much of it explains everything happening right now, as a regime that spent 47 years exporting exactly that violence finally faces the consequences. 𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗮𝗴𝗲.

Older generations say “we all struggled in our 20s.” No, you didn’t. You didn’t pay $3200 for rent and $10 for eggs. You didn’t graduate into $50K student debt and $0 job security. Gen Z isn’t dramatic. They’re drowning.

This 'we all struggled' line is too real but Gen Z is actually drowning. I am pursuing degree in my final semester currently . Internship start next month and graduation in July/August. I have to make a decision whether to dropout or not this month and get a job instead to help to pay for some of the living expenses because my parents have separated and my dad didn't support the family anymore. If I give up my degree this month, I have to pay back the loan & scholarships 😔 #GenZ #Burnout

@Bitcoin_Teddy Most of us late boomers had to share an apartment with roommates to afford the rent. Many also worked more than one job. And some lived in pretty sketchy rooms to get a cheaper price. University wasn't free for me, but it was cheaper by comparison. Student loans were better.
