I’ll never understand the level of hate and ridicule aimed at Joe Walsh this season. A young player learning his trade in the toughest position on the pitch. Yes, mistakes, yes, not perfect, but he never hid and always had the courage to keep going. He deserves respect for that.

That was a strong performance to end the season, and great to watch... ...until suddenly it wasn't. From cruising one minute to looking shocked and bewildered the next. We really do keep finding new and imaginative ways to lose home games.
