I longed the bottom of every Bitcoin correction this cycle. Long entries: 15k 34k 82k 84k (current position) Most called me delusional at every bottom.  They said it was over.  I always have the last laugh.

Extreme Fear showing on Bitcoin fear and greed, but that does not mean it's time to rush and buy. This shows a change in trend, from bullish to bearish. There was a large-scale bearish divergence in August 2025, which has also appeared at every other cycle top. The reason I think a lot of the traditional cycle top metrics (like the Pi Cycle Top, etc.) missed this cycle is because of two reasons: 1. Overly optimistic projections 2. Heavy bearish divergence Heavy intuition was required, similar to the last cycle, but even more so this time.

The "First Cycle Top" on the Fibonacci Halvings would have been off by about 2 months (depending on where you place it), but the cycle top mark was nearly dead at just 2 weeks post the October cycle top. I distinctly remember before the last bear market in 2022, we heard the same song and dance: "Bitcoin will not see a bear market this go around because institutions, etc. Only 30% corrections from here on out." On every price bump, you'll see: "Bottom's in, new ATHs soon." That's the bear market trap. The bear market usually takes the full year to play out, so it's a long, painful process.

Here's an early look at what we might expect for Bitcoin cycle low prices from the Golden Ratio Multiplier... Level 1 sits at $38,800 and has been very consistent for cycle bottoms. As price declines, this number will drop some. I also think GRM did an ok/decent job of navigating the cycle top with some intution. Level 5 was the cycle top band for cycle 4, which was hit early in March 2024. This was followed by January 2025, which hit level 4 at 109k. This is a similar situation to other double tops (2013 and 2021).
