Serious question: Why do my pinky and ring finger sometimes get “stuck” close to my palm? It only happens on my left hand (which is my dominant hand), and it only does this every once in a while. But it’s really weird not to be able to move two of my fingers. Really slows down my Excel keyboard shortcuts, too. Should I be talking to a doctor about this? Thanks!

There are men and women among us who are truly elite at recovering from drinking. They can drink all night and get up the next morning as if they only had a few drinks. And no, these aren’t alcoholics. They should be studied by science. It’s like they have a gene or something. Everybody knows one person who is elite at this.

@WeddingVenueGuy I did it for exposure to non-healthcare/clinical minds in a semi-professional setting. I considered it a luxury expense instead of getting a nice car or something. Also it helps rubber stamp my cv to say, hey this doctor is able to communicate with people that aren’t doctors

You cannot convince me that getting an MBA prepares you to run a business. Honestly usually tells me a few things if you are prepared to pay a bunch of money to get another degree: 1. You have financial backing (parents, grandparents, etc) 2. You don’t understand personal finance and how much debt you are taking on 3. You couldn’t get a job with your 4 year degree/were not willing to work your way up somewhere. 4. Your current job paid for it, not sure why 5. You’re lost with what to do in life Ivy League maybe different, I don’t understand that world. There are probably other legit reasons but this is what comes to mind. None of which are reasons to then buy a business when you are done. Tell me why I’m wrong

Still remember as a recent grad hanging with friends in a Chicago club. Chatted with a guy making & $180k/yr as an attorney. Middle aged. We were enamored. We were all barely making $60k ish. The guy said he was broke, depressed, living paycheck to paycheck with so much debt. We had no clue how someone making so much money could be in such a poor financial position. Crazy how some high income earners are still in such a poor financial state.

The coddling parents of twitter are really going to hate me for this… But my kids will have jobs. They’ll go to work to earn money in high school. Way more important than an extra 3 AP classes and 3 hours a day of homework. Parents today are more worried about following rules and the popularity contest of the college admission process than raising resourceful, functioning humans. I’ll value whether or not my kid can look an adult in the eye and have an intellectual conversation over any of that.

With my zero (0) years of medical training & zero (0) years of coaching experience, I think I would rest Tyson Walker until the NCAA Tournament. Assuming his injury is one that would even benefit from rest, him getting healthy has to be the top priority for MSU. Plus, maybe increased usage for Hoggard & Akins could help them find a groove. Worst case scenario, you lose the next two games and fall to an 11-seed (and get to play a 3-seed in the R32). Not bad at all.
