I am utterly disgusted by the fact that my son was set upon and outnumbered by thugs today at the Constitutional hearing conducted in Harare. Despite how disturbing this video is I am thankful to God that Doug is safe and relatively uninjured. He had his cell phone stolen, his glasses broken and he had abrasions and bruises but otherwise survived this brutal assault by clearly several thugs. Some of the leadership of Zanu PF have completely lost their way.

This is unacceptable! Zimbabwe has a bigger and deeper problem. Violence is an abomination. Why is this being allowed? Fellow Citizens, this marks the beginning of a new struggle! Enough is enough! This must bring all of us who believe in a free, open and peaceful Zimbabwe together! #OnePeople

• It’s now clear that Nelson Chamisa @nelsonchamisa remains the legitimate and credible leader of Zimbabwe. • They tried so hard to discredit him but they failed to deliver anything solid. • They invested more in attacking him, accusing him with fake allegations and accusations but hazvina kushanda. #WeStandWithNelsonChamisa #Godisinit

All this fuss because @Carra23 had the audacity to rank Mo Salah sixth - behind Steven Gerrard, Kenny Dalglish, Graeme Souness, John Barnes and Ian Rush. SIXTH. At Liverpool Football Club. One of the most decorated and historic clubs in world football… Do people have any idea how absurd they’re being?! Do you know how highly regarded you must be to be put in SIXTH?! You’d think he’d put him 56th!!!
Asim@asim_lfc

Salah’s first incident in 9 years where he was involved in a spat and @Carra23 changes his mind from top 5 initially, then arguably 1st after delivering on the conditions set by himself and then miraculously pops up in 6th. It’s ok to have your own personal lists as it’s down to your own wonderful way of defining greatness and what the players mean to you from different generations but this isn’t fair. How many greats handed transfer requests in? How many legends left the club? How many gave exclusives to the rag? But do we let that get in the way? No because they’re humans and we’re all allowed to make mistakes. And that’s why we must not let the drama in December be reflective of @MoSalah’ legacy. It feels like Carragher can’t fully accept just how great Salah has been, so instead of celebrating it, he’s nitpicking and magnifying the one tiny crack he can find. That’s where the bitterness shows. Because if you’re being honest, you look at the full body of work — the goals, the consistency, the impact — and you give credit where it’s due. But this? This feels like a deliberate attempt to undermine and malign a hero, rather than celebrate everything he represents. And in the end, that says more about Carragher than it ever will of the great Mohamed Salah. #LFC

I was denied the opportunity to speak and contribute at the Constitutional Bill hearing in Nketa by the openly biased chairperson. People bused in from Matobo and Umguza were selectively given the opportunity to speak, yet many of them appeared unsure of what to say and simply repeated rehearsed slogans. We pushed back and expressed our total rejection of the bill! #NoTo2030!

Why we Reject Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3 We reject Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3 because it does not strengthen our democracy, it weakens it! We have grown up believing that every citizen must have an equal voice and that leadership must come from the will of the people. This Bill takes us in the opposite direction. It seeks to remove our right to directly elect the President and instead allows Parliament to choose on our behalf. It replaces one person, one vote with decisions made by a few. We reject this Bill because it extends presidential and parliamentary terms from five to seven years, keeping leaders in power longer without returning to the people for a fresh mandate. No leader should benefit from changing the rules while already in office. We reject this Bill because it avoids the referendum required by Section 328 of the Constitution. If these changes are truly in the national interest, then citizens themselves must be allowed to decide. We reject this Bill because it concentrates more power in the hands of the President: more unelected Senators, more control over Parliament, more influence over the courts, and more control over elections. A democracy is strongest when power is shared and institutions remain independent. We reject this Bill because it weakens the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission, undermines the independence of the judiciary, and abolishes institutions that protect peace, accountability and gender equality. These institutions exist to serve the people, not those in power. As a generation, as ordinary people, we cannot remain silent when our Constitution is being changed in ways that reduce our voice and our rights. We, the citizens, reject this Bill in its entirety! We demand two referendums on Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3. Nothing for the citizens without the citizens! #NoTo2030

I am so confused why many adults in zimbabwe keep blaming Chamisa for their inability to 1. Lead a party or movement 2. Support a new party or movement It’s giving not want to take on risk. He doesn’t control your free will. If he is compromised move on.

Andy Robertson on Liverpool’s greatest ever player: “For me, Kenny's the greatest player of all time for Scotland and he's the greatest player of all time for Liverpool. Behind that, you have three or four players that come into conversation of who's there and Mo Salah definitely comes into that conversation.” "It's just an absolute credit to him to be in even the conversation with Kenny Dalglish, Steven Gerrard, Ian Rush, people like that. For Mo to be in that same sentence is an absolute credit to him for what he's done over these last nine years."

I stood on the Kop as a kid from the age of six right up until the day Jamie Carragher left the club, and let me tell you, he was definitely not average. With 737 appearances for the biggest club in England (Liverpol) in all competitions between (1996) and (2013) he ranks second on the club's all-time appearance list. He won 7 major trophies , 38 caps for England and was Liverpool through and through. Like it or not, Liverpudlians decide who our legends are, and Jamie Carragher is most definitely a LFC legend. Scouser!
Yazz LFC@YazzLFC

Why have so many LFC fans forgotten that Jamie Carragher was an average Centre back ... I remember seeing him chase shadows and score own goals. As a pundit he's worse.
