Radical beauty. The oldest tattoo artist in the world is from the Cordillera mountains of the Philippines. 106 year old (yes 106!) Apo Whang-Od has been practicing the traditional art form since she was 16. She makes the ink herself uses thorns and bamboo to tap deep into the skin.

NEW - The BC Government has introduced legislation allowing gender diverse individuals to get birth certificates with no gender listed. There will also no longer be a requirement to have a doctor confirm change in gender to amend birth certificate. #bcpoli

The lessons we teach our kids are often the ones we need to relearn. It's not a coincidence that our favorite children's stories focus on kindness, honesty, responsibility, persistence, and courage. The values we learn in kindergarten are the ones that matter most in life.

Authenticity is not about being unfiltered. It's about staying true to your principles. The goal isn't to voice every opinion you hold. It's to stand up for ideas that are consistent with your ideals. Being genuine is closing the gap between what you value and what you express.

I’m not fully confident the public understands that we are short THOUSANDS of teachers in #BCPoli. Schools are short teachers on call daily, sometimes 5+ teachers per school in a single day. There are “teachers” teaching with NO experience or training this is a big issue. #bced
