Didn’t Mamdani just raise hotel cleaning staff wages to $30/hr. How does he expect the hotels to cover this cost of business? Either eliminate the daily cleaning and fire staff or have a Cleaning Fee, aka, JUNK FEE added to the bill. It’s bad enough that Mamdani has driven millionaire and billionaires residents to leave the city, now businesses will stop holding meetings and doing business in the city which requires travelers to cover the additional cost.
