@hulkdogalo many people call it a harsh and rough sounding language but it’s so beautiful to my ears. i did learn some basic words like danke, mein fraulein, wasser, schwimmbad etc. but then i gave up lol

i really tried to keep up with duolingo while i was trying to learn german on it but i was just too frustrated cuz i wanted to learn actually useful sentences instead of “the elephant is jumping on the trampoline”. literally why would i want to know how to say that in german? 😭

A hill I'm willing to die on: I think the LADS fandom should adopt gender neutral language. Saying "player or mains" is more inclusive than calling us all "girlies," even though I know it comes from a place of community and belonging
