Today we are announcing that OCEAN’s backend will be upgraded to follow multiple chains independently in the event of a BIP 110 chain split. If a split occurs, DATUM miners automatically continue on whichever chain their own node enforces, and OCEAN will credit rewards to a split share log for that chain, subject to the chain’s continued operation and to our Terms of Service. OCEAN will effectively operate as two pools from the split point. Updated Terms of Service addressing split handling will be published before block 961632. We are building all this so our miners can receive rewards based on their own actions without adversely affecting other OCEAN miners.

@MrHodl I dobt understand the relationship on him losing 300 coins and being against spam. If he was against it in 2013 and he still is means he is consistent.

Luke was already warning about illegal content on the blockchain back in 2013 saying #Bitcoin was screwed because of it. He stayed relatively calm for a decade. Then he lost 300 Bitcoin Once those coins were gone his incentives completely flipped. Now every move he makes looks personal. The sudden obsession with forcing consensus changes and the shifting narratives make his motives highly questionable. Bitcoin doesn't work on personal grudges. It works on incentives

@Pentosh1 Its probably the best team since the 20s. They have beaten Paraguay 4-1, Uruguay in a friendly match 5-1. Remember Paraguay won over Germany and yesterday lost to France by only 1 goal. So they definitely are a threat and can be one of the surprises of the tournament.

the entire world is rooting against the US and upset that Belgium will have to play the US at full strength look. The US isn't a threat to win anyways. half of our team is literally just people off the street who are in great shape and have decent coordination, the other half practices like once a month. they aren't even real soccer players. the US doesnt even play soccer or embrace it. its just like a fun exhibition game here to the players and fans. once this is over, we will forget it even exists

Me agrada darme cuenta que yo sigo teniendo la misma opinión. El hecho de que ahora el voto en el exterior haya servido en Perú para dar ganadora a Fujimori, cuando perdía con los votos del interior, me confirma en mi posición y que la izquierda ahora piense lo mismo que yo muestra cómo para ellos es sólo una cuestión de conveniencia. Si me votan a mí está bien, si votan a mis adversarios no lo quiero. Si los que paran y cortan rutas son los míos, todo bien, si no, ojo no se pasen de la raya. Y así. A mí me gusta ser coherente.

El pais es caro porque tiene un estado muy grande y los servicios que te da el estado solo los usa el que no puede pagar los privados. Si podes no mandar a tu hijo a la escuela pública no lo mandas, si podes no mandar a tu hijo a salud pública no lo mandas, si podes poner rejas y alarma con respuesta la pones. ESAS son las cosas que realmente hacen de que vivir en Uruguay sea caro. Sumado a que ademas tenes unos impuestos a los sueldos ENORMES para empresarios y empleados. Agrégale la nafta como bien dijiste porque en cada llenada de tanque de los $4000 que pones mas de $2000 son para el estado. En todos estos gastos los productos del super pasan a ser mínimos. Si un colegio barato por hijo sale 15000 pesos, solo con eso ya arrancas el mes bien abajo. Despues agrégale los impuestos de tu sueldo, ahi esta lo caro del pais. Lo de la pasta de dientes barata es mínimo comparado con estas cosas. No vi ninguna política del FA que baje el costo del estado ni el costo de vida.

NOS TOMAN DE BOLUDOS. Pero no este gobierno: el anterior. ¿Cómo es posible que el paquete de reformas microeconómicas más ambicioso en materia de costo país haya sido propuesto por el Frente Amplio? La respuesta es clara si observás el pensamiento de Lacalle Pou. En 2024 fue entrevistado por Telenoche y le preguntaron por qué Uruguay es tan caro y qué se podía hacer al respecto. Primero responsabilizó a la escala, una explicación que puede justificar pequeños sobrecostos, pero nunca brechas grotescas. Mercado chico no significa mercado cerrado. El problema no es importar poco, sino que pocos puedan importar. Después dijo que Uruguay tenía los salarios más altos de América, omitiendo a Estados Unidos y Canadá. Aun tomando la frase como cierta, la lógica no cierra: si los salarios explicaran todo, en los países con salarios mucho más altos los productos básicos deberían costar mucho más que acá. Y muchas veces ocurre exactamente lo contrario. Finalmente mencionó que había "algunos temas regulatorios", pero les bajó el peso: no serían tan importantes ni bajarían sensiblemente los precios. Para decir eso elaboró un razonamiento increíble: "Los temas regulatorios no bajarían sensiblemente los precios… salvo que estimulen la competencia". Es como decir: "abrir la puerta no sirve para entrar, salvo que la puerta esté cerrada". Justamente. Ese es el problema, maestro. Esa frase resume una de las confusiones más dañinas de la política uruguaya. Lacalle minimizó los temas regulatorios y en la misma oración admitió por qué eran importantes: porque podían generar competencia. La regulación importa porque puede abrir o cerrar mercados, permitir o impedir nuevos importadores, proteger rentas o disciplinar precios. Esos "temas regulatorios" no son un detalle técnico. Son una parte central de la explicación de por qué Uruguay es tan caro. La puerta está cerrada, los importadores están protegidos y el Estado sobrerregula con trámites absurdos, como volver a exigir registros, papeles y controles para productos que ya fueron aprobados en Estados Unidos, Europa o Japón. Una maquinaria ridícula que encarece, demora y protege a los que ya están adentro. Todo eso destruye la competencia, genera mercados cautivos y permite que algunos empresarios cacen en el zoológico. Las regulaciones no se ven en el ticket, pero están metidas en todos los precios. Como ejemplo, Lacalle describió entre risas el caso de la pasta de dientes, como si fuera un analista mirando el problema desde afuera y no el presidente de la República. Recordemos que su gobierno diagnosticó correctamente ese caso y finalmente no cambió absolutamente nada. ¿La excusa oficial? Que mandos medios del Ministerio de Salud Pública trancaron la solución. Tan simple y delirante como eso. Por eso nos toman de boludos. Las representaciones exclusivas son fenómenos de mercado totalmente válidos. El problema aparece cuando el Estado transforma esa exclusividad privada en una barrera pública contra la competencia. En un mercado abierto puede haber representantes exclusivos y también importadores no exclusivos que funcionen como alternativa y disciplinen precios. Pero en Uruguay el Estado bloquea sistemáticamente esa posibilidad en una enorme cantidad de bienes, desde higiene y salud hasta autos y repuestos. Los impuestos altos explican una parte de la película. Pero no toda. Y en muchos rubros, no explican lo más importante. Si un producto cuesta 10% más, podés discutir escala, impuestos o logística. Si cuesta 50%, 100% o 300% más, y justo ocurre en mercados con pocos importadores, registros difíciles y barreras de entrada, ya no estás mirando impuestos: estás mirando protección. Lo absurdo es que el sistema político razona exactamente al revés. En pasta de dientes, higiene, autos, repuestos o tantos productos importados, donde el problema central es regulatorio y competitivo, te dicen: "es por impuestos". En combustibles, donde los impuestos sí son el elefante en la habitación, te dicen: "hay que desmonopolizar para generar competencia". Y justo ahí, competencia sin rediseño fiscal no mueve lo esencial si casi la mitad del precio de la nafta es carga tributaria. Donde hay que abrir mercados, hablan de impuestos. Donde hay que tocar impuestos, hablan de mercados. El mundo del revés. Si fallan tanto en los diagnósticos, ¿qué soluciones podemos esperar de esta generación política? Los liderazgos simpáticos pueden servir para ganar elecciones. Pero para transformar un país trabado, caro y cómodo para demasiados intereses, se necesita bastante más que simpatía. Se necesita entender dónde está cerrada la puerta y animarse a abrirla.
