@intergerfailing MS is well known to have good backwards compatibility support with legacy software, my whole point is that they should've extended DI with extra functions and interfaces to make setting up xbox pads for games easier/automatically while still keeping the same standards around

@intergerfailing I agree with you in the sense that it did solve a good amount of problems, but only on the surface. The reality is that xinput brought one big solution to the table but dozens of problems along with it that weren't there before.

@carygolomb you can somewhat resolve this issue by changing a registry key, the split axis config on DI for xbox pads has been a thing even since forever and only somewhat recently people have found a way to bypass it, there was a never a GUI to change this ever github.com/nefarius/XInpu…

@carygolomb So you might be thinking "cool I can still play my old DI games with the new controller right?" No, no you can't because MS fucked up the DI drivers for the new controller so you'd get those split axis bullshit problem for old games, so now you're essentially locked

@carygolomb For those who don't know, the moment Microsoft introduced xinput it essentially killed every non xbox controller on pc because xinput only worked with those controllers, they created a whole hardware monopoly and no one cared and I can't believe there was no lawsuit from this

@fcanudo_ talvez (nuns 720p a uns 40fps? sim, talvez), mas n consigo nem instalar a steam pra testar, já tentei até procurar esse arquivo na internet pra colocar direto na pasta, mas o antivírus do notebook exclui ele assim q eu tento abrir (e eu não tenho acesso pra desativar o antivírus)

@birufgc @solidxpanda @jchensor Eu só nao entendi como o ryu conseguiu apertar DI sendo que o soco forte do notpedro colocou ele em burnout, fora isso, normal aperta DI no msm frame do oponente, se n me engano ngm leva stun nem dano só pushback é raro mas acontece
