This week we say goodbye to our ward sister Lorraine and good luck in her new role 💜

@fesshole I’m the booker too and never do this, people who send through PayPal not as friends and family too… always ends up costing me 😅

In my friend group I'm always the one who books all the big trips and events. When requesting the money off everyone I always ask for at least £5 over the actual price. Individually a small difference but it can easily net a nice £50 profit which I see as more of a booking fee

@Arrhythmianurse I deferred as I was exclusively breast feeding my daughter who was 8 weeks old. I was told that if I got called again I couldn’t defer. I don’t think there is any way out of it… sorry for the unhelpful response to your question and I hope you get sorted x

My 69 yr old Dad deferred jury service when Mum was ill, he’s been called again but is now the main support for my 6 yr old nephew while his Mum has chemo. His request for a second deferment has been declined. He’s in bits. Any advice hugely welcomed.

@AntAdefolaju Depends on her reasoning though, because if you going left the ward unsafe and endangered patients… but then she should have said that.

I didn’t think having a baby kept me busy enough, so a week ago we bought this little floof ball my big daughter has named Billy boy. Turns out he’s really good company and never leaves my side!
