@zdzichudyrma @umpire_chair Didn't think there would be a queue today. As yesterday was a walk in apparently..but finals weekend tends to get like this.
English

@hayleyfeehan @ViewFromTheQ I'd say early as I arrived late last year on Sunday around 1pm and queue closed as grounds had reached capacity they said. I thankfully did mamage to luckily get in later, but yeah harder now and they've not reduced grounds pass fee for last weekend. £20. Used to be £8!!
English

@ViewFromTheQ What time would I need to arrive on Sunday for a realistic chance of getting a ground pass would you reckon?
English

@arikreiss Is this on the Wimbledon app or once in the queue and at kiosk that you can access failed ballot & get tickets?
English

@umpire_chair It’s huge. Made notes for myself for next year. Couple years ago I stumbled into it by accident but couldn’t find my way back since!
English

@umpire_chair Shame not reduced entry. As quite expensive if arriving late in afternoon.
Thank you.
English

@umpire_chair Yes agree. Esp if your having to travel by tube from London.
Too much.
I never did that morden p&r when mum was alive.
P.s would you know if ground passes today if arrival after 1pm today would be easy enough and how much they are. I'm thinking £15? Do they drop for final days?
English

@Scandinav_ish @ViewFromTheQ I hadn't realised about earlier in the fortnight to check for lower courts, as at least that way, you get into grounds if tickets not too expensive..just saves queuing.
Thanks
English

@feag @ViewFromTheQ Over the fortnight and some time before there have been tickets for cc ct1 ct2 and ct3. Now there is onle ct1 left. But two days ago u could buy cc tickets for today. But there might be some returned tickets coming up regularly. Go back checking.
English

@ViewFromTheQ arrived at 7am- 720 in the queue 👍 no courts today, just grounds tickets 👍

This week I’ve joined a club, it’s the grief one
A world opens up that you don’t really know exists of the funeral planning and choices and conversations you never thought you’d have to have
My mother in law died suddenly at the weekend and she was a very present part of our lives since I married her daughter 26 years ago. I’m a witness to my wife’s journey with all she’s experiencing
Today I went to clear out Jackie’s fridge and it BROKE me. I offered to do this small thing because I thought it would be easy. There was this powerful tenderness and finality to clearing out someone’s fridge
Fridges contain possibilities of dinners to be made and enjoyed. They sustain our lives.
It was the full bottle of milk for cups of tea what won’t now be drink that did it for me
I made a cuppa for her and myself and sat on her couch

@umpire_chair When I used to take my mum, I'd only ever go if we had tickets. Achievable in wheelchair ballot.
Otherwise too long a walk. We did once get a taxi to queue area when we'd heard no queue that afternoon.
I'd opt for black cab share from Wimbledon Station as £2.50 each person
English

@umpire_chair @haraldcg Yes I recall last year on men's final day. I arrived at 1pm and queue had been closed and no more ground tickets until final was over. Thankfully I was lucky to get in by someone who had an unused ticket they transferred via app to me at gate 14..lucked out.
English

@umpire_chair when do you think you need to be there for a ground pass on Saturday? Do you think it requires an early morning wake-up?
English

@Scandinav_ish @ViewFromTheQ Have there been tickets to purchase via this page, over the fortnight? Or just for next 3 days? If so we're tickets only for Cc & No.1?
Curious
Thanks
English

@thegrandnanyon @ViewFromTheQ there are still ct1 tickets up for sale for the last 3 days on the Wimbledon home page

English

@hoyas @ViewFromTheQ @umpire_chair That's good. Hoping will be similar for Friday.
Ground pass cost drops too
I'd just try get on court 1 or 2 now for the evening, you'd easily get on.
English

@Wimbledon @AmexUK I've so many, as grew up with my Dad getting us into the grounds so easily back in the 80's. We'd ask people for their tickets and watched many a match on centre. My dad even blagged his way into the Royal Box!
I met McEnroe & Becker briefly too in the ground. Such exciting days
English

@umpire_chair queue card c. 1500 at 06:30h . BTW does anybody know why the online ticket link you have above doesn’t work for me ?
English

@umpire_chair @ThatBoyLewis1 @anjusharma_1 @sarahsw19 Oh right I see...
Thanks
I just want a GP for tomorrow or Thursday tbh. But can't arrive until 2pm.
English

@roshnip77 @ViewFromTheQ @Kerrance222 Where do you find the virtual queue on the my Wimbledon app? I can't find any link on there and yes I did apply for this year's ballot
Many thanks
English

@ViewFromTheQ @Kerrance222 I was wondering because of the new virtual resale queue. It sounds like a lot of hassle so just wondered if they got in for 10am. I have read there's no point of going down to the ticket resale booth if later than 10.10am. Think we might need "view from the resale queue" 😆😩
English

@umpire_chair @anjusharma_1 @sarahsw19 I've searched on my profile part but nothing is there..am I missing something 😕
