I am having an absolute blast letting Claude Code SSH into an old Mac to build apps. For a subway time tracker, I’m using my Mac mini as a proxy server, used the existing GTFS python lib to turn it into XML, and just used NSXMLParser The hardest part is having to brush off my photoshop icon pixel fitting skills — it’s drawing the toolbar icons programmatically rn, bless its heart

I cant explain how sad this is. I got to talk to @fedesanchez0 in the early days of play and how empowered this tool made me before all this vibe coding stuff started. But i am sure the people will be building sick stuff still

play just deleted their entire twitter. every tweet is gone. and this wasn’t just another startup account. play was one of those rare tools designers genuinely rooted for. apple design award. beautiful product. cult following. and now the entire timeline is just… empty. crazy how something that felt permanent on the internet can vanish overnight.

This was the first gen Mac Mini for me. World was never the same after watching the Snow Leopard intro video. I watched WWDC instead of studying for exams. Time prove me right!
