In light of yesterday’s horrific assassination of a leading political figure, I want to underscore that foreigners who glorify violence and hatred are not welcome visitors to our country. I have been disgusted to see some on social media praising, rationalizing, or making light of the event, and have directed our consular officials to undertake appropriate action. Please feel free to bring such comments by foreigners to my attention so that the @StateDept can protect the American people.

@Na7uree @slimjosa Exactly. He would advocate for it now even though he was killed by a gun. The guns are not the problem, people are the problem. The UK has way less guns than we do, & they just have more stabbings, taking the guns away does nothing. People getting enjoyment out of this are evil.

The hubris of Charlie Kirk is that he spent a significant portion of his career justifying the cruelty of these shootings as if he was somehow immune from them or could merely place the blame on other groups of people he deemed undesirable or uniquely violent This affects us all

What I meant is not the name of the gun model itself like desert eagle but rather the individual gun like John Wilkes booth derringer or Billy the Kid's six shooter something like that, I just think they need cool names too

I think there needs to be more cool named legendary modern weapons, something equivalent to Gáe Bulg, Spear of Longinus or Excalibur but GUN you know? Adds more mystique and aura

Like I wanna be polite but I got referred because my joints are deteriorating and instead he spent like 15 minutes going over all the thyroid tests I've had since I was a teenager before telling me that he hasn't seen my x-ray. 😭

The doctor I saw today claimed my original referring doctor was being overly negative about my x-ray and then in the next breath told me that he hasn't actually seen my x-ray yet ??

While getting my shoulder ultrasound the lady said my x-ray notes used the phrase "severe degeneration". So at least they found something I guess. 💀 Finding out exactly what on Saturday!

Update: I submitted to the call of the void and plugged the same mic and cable into my old preamp and nothing spontaneously shorted. Mic worked okay, preamp did not die. It's also using the same power cable as my mixer so probably just a coincidental mixer death :(
