I am genuinely struggling to understand this logic. If the rest of the world is willing to pay a small toll to Iran to keep oil flowing and stabilise markets, then why does the U.S. feel the need to block all shipping, especially when it is not dependent on that oil?

@WeTheCanucks @EricLDaugh It's globally known that you don't negotiate with terrorism. Every country that try to make a deal with Iran is doing just that.

@EricLDaugh Trump is not doing anything except pissing off allies who made their own successful deal with Iran to pass through. And even if Iran is not keeping a blockade, then this makes Trump the bad person here. Either way Trump loses.
