As I learned in my HIV research, HIV is a terminal condition…and so is being born. Birth is a terminal condition bc you will eventually die. Is it necessary to speed death along? Who decides life is no longer worth living? Ableism is very dangerous in deciding these things.

What is “terminal” is highly debatable. The more I learned about MaID in Canada, the more horrified I became about who was pushed into being their illness was sufficiently and imminently terminal that they should end it ASAP
