@fen_em Thanks for waiting, The guidance does not specify a timescale of when a place of work becomes normal. If you are travelling away from your usual place of work then the expenses are deductible. Amandine

@HMRCcustomers self assessment query re claiming food & drink expenses - in terms of info in screenshot ⬇️, at what point does a pattern become ‘normal’, eg if you travel to the same place of work for 2 weeks would this be deemed a ‘normal pattern’ or not?
